Compiègne Palace and Pierrefonds castle
The Pierrefonds castle is one of most imposing and romantic medieval France's castles. It has been used for the shooting of many films, by examples: The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc (1999, by Luc Besson) and more recently Merlin on BBC One. It has also inspired the Miraz's castle in The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (2008).
